is a community of faith, based in Montgomery, Alabama and engaging virtually across the country, gathered by Christ, growing spiritually, serving our community, getting to know our neighbor, welcoming all, and sharing the Good News of Jesus.
We GATHER in fellowship with other Christians, reaching to the margins to include all.
We GROW spiritually as we engage our world through a theological lens as people of faith, exploring how God is speaking and active in our world today.
We GO into the world to share the Good News of Jesus, as we strive to live the love of Christ in our words and actions, loving and serving our neighbor.

10th Anniversary Scholarship
In celebration of 10 years of ministry, Gathered by Grace (GBG) is pleased to offer the 10th Anniversary Scholarship Program to help individuals pursue an educational or career-training opportunity that moves them toward their next step.
For 10 years, Gathered by Grace has believed in the power of community, faith, service, and coming together to support one another. This scholarship reflects that commitment by helping open a door that may otherwise remain closed because of financial barriers.
Scholarship Award
A minimum of two (2) scholarships will be awarded.
Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the recipient’s educational institution or approved program, as noted in the award letter. Recipients must enroll in their approved program within one year of receiving the scholarship.
Who Should Apply?
The GBG 10th Anniversary Scholarship is designed for individuals who reside in the following Alabama counties – Autauga, Elmore, Lowndes, Macon, and Montgomery – who are preparing for or returning to their next educational or career step.
Eligible applicants include:
– High school seniors preparing to pursue their next educational or career opportunity
– Individuals who have earned or are pursuing a GED
– Individuals pursuing a certificate or workforce-development program
– Current undergraduate or graduate students
– Adults returning to school after spending time in the workforce
– Members of #GBGteens community who meet the applicable eligibility requirements
The scholarship is intended to support a variety of educational pathways. A four-year college experience is not required.

Teens please join us in-person on Saturday, September 26 at 1 p.m. for our #GBGteens Gathering at Fry & Fork Restaurant, 2701 Eastern Blvd., Montgomery, AL. All are welcome! Your meal is provided. We’d love for you to join us for great food, fellowship, and service!
This month’s service project will be for John Knox Manor Nursing Home and Retirement Community.

This year, we step into something sacred—our 10th year as Gathered by Grace.
What began as a bold, Spirit-led experiment has become a community that consistently shows up with compassion, with courage, and with grace. As we look back with gratitude and look forward with faith, we’re anchoring this year in the theme:
“10 Years of Abundance: Rooted in Grace. Reaching in Love. Ready for More.” It’s inspired by the words of Jesus in John 10:10—“I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
It’s about living fully, loving freely, and trusting that God is not done working through us. Over the next year, we’ll celebrate stories of impact, plant seeds for the future, and continue becoming the kind of community that gathers with grace, grows in faith, and goes out with love.
Abundance is not a destination. It’s the journey we’re still on—together.
